| Nice...
Black Sols are pretty cool.
That DX has alot of potential. Make sure you keep the progress reports coming. Any ideas on choice of powerplant for it yet?

| the sol was cool, even when it was pi$$ing down and leaking in! just had to go faster for the water to not leak in! Well had a few problems with the DX so the track prep might start a lot sooner! the elements in the rad were fooooked! so changed that last night! now the Off Side front caliper has looked on and pulling hard to the left! And for a 1.3 that you cant go fast, at all in it should be doing more than 31mpg! And while accelerating half way through the rev range, it cuts out for a second and carry's on! So prob going to cost ?£££? and not worth doing, and i have no money to do it! I'll keep it updated when some progress is made! After all the chassis, suspention, etc.. work i'll be looking for a B18, or if a K20 is going cheap! | |

| For a full k20 conversion you've gota spend around £4k all in. I've looked into it a fair bit as i was considering this a while ago. The project sounds good tho mate, keep us updated because, as Tim said, it would be cool to see an EG project on the site. One thing though.. i have always been under the impression DX's didnt come with the side rubbing strips..? Just curious rele! | |

| looks a good project base. Have a good think before you tear it apart. I did mine and whilst its moving forward you always get the thoughts of is it worth it.
B18 should work out cheaper as you can use any b series shafts, linkage, mounts are readily available.
as craig says the K20 will work out at quite a lot. everything costs more than you first think, believe me.

| Well its on hold for a while the striping that is! tryed making some room in my garage to put the car in, as i was opening the door it fell of in my hand, and all the supports are rotten and horrible, so ive got to rebuild the garage before i start striping properly! | |

| Nice!
Thats coming along really good mate. Loving the stash of A048's on that trailer too lol!
The green looks good, will you be spraying the inside of the car aswell? and in the engine bay? just a plain black or something?
That broken valve should be easy enough to fix. For £100 you cant moan. That same thing happened to a mate of mine's b16a1. He ended up stripping it down and doing a B18 conversion. But i reckon just to fix it and run it stock should be simple providing there's no further damage.
