Curborough Track Day

The organisation of Curborough Sprint Course have been contacted. Unfortunately the venue is only available for club use after 1st November 2008 due to a packed schedule.

The price of the day for each car in attendance is thought to be around £22 at this stage and a total of 35 cars will be allowed to go on track (priced based on all 35 cars attending). This includes 4 hours of track time (around 4 double laps for each car starting at the flagpole corner at the end of the main straight). This will also include the cost of a noise test which is compulsory on weekend test days (noise limit is 100db i think, this will be clarified). The day will be likely to run from 12pm - 4.30pm, concluding at the Bowling Green Pub in lichfield at 5pm - whenever!

The day the event is likely to be held on will be a saturday to allow most of our members to take advantage of the opportunity.

Timing will be carried out on an unofficial basis for comparison with one anothers cars (and drivers of course).


The crucial question.....

DO WE ARRANGE THE EVENT FOR A DAY IN NOVEMBER OR DO WE WAIT TILL THERE IS MORE LIKELIHOOD OF GOOD WEATHER AND ARRANGE THE DAY FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2009? WHAT SUITS YOU???

Why not do two occasions. November and summer next year. £22 is worth a a time attack wet or dry

Could do both doug yeah but NEED 35 in attendance really to make it viable. If this is achievable then its a goer, just not too sure whether we'd get the full complement in November thats all.
